Breathwork

Breathwork refers to various techniques and practices that involve conscious control and manipulation of breathing patterns for the purpose of improving physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It encompasses a wide range of methods, from simple deep breathing exercises to more structured techniques such as pranayama in yoga or holotropic breathwork.

My Technique

🧘🏽

Whatever the situation, you can always anchor to your breath.

The practice of breathwork often involves rhythmic breathing patterns, focusing on the inhale, exhale, and the pauses in between. By consciously altering the breath, individuals aim to reduce stress, increase relaxation, improve concentration, enhance emotional regulation, and access altered states of consciousness.

I use an activation style like Holotropic breathwork to support my client’s breathwork session.

Holotropic breathwork was developed by psychiatrist Stanislav Grof, it involves deep, rapid breathing in a supportive environment to access non-ordinary states of consciousness and promote self-discovery and healing.

I charge $50 in AUD for an one hour session where I will guide you through 3 different breathing stages to gradually bring up your breath rhythem and hold at the peak for 30 seconds for the retention and release, and some powerful integration time.
